Some news we all have been waiting for!
However now here is where it gets choppy if you consider it good news or bad news...
We've discovered that Gen 1 Vectors will require an upgraded Fire Control Group ('FCG') to work seamlessly with the RPTR.
While this means an extra step for Gen 1 users, the good news is that upgrading opens the door to enhanced performance and compatibility-- not just with our product, but with future innovations as well.
Below is the link to where you can find the upgraded Fire Control Group from the Kriss Vector website.
Please make sure you choose the correct caliber grouping.

So, I have a Gen1. When I go to the Kriss hyperlink you posted for the Upgraded FCG, Kriss's website references an upgrade for the KRISS Vector Gen 2 and Gen 2.1 and not for the Gen1? As I own the Gen1, is this still the upgrade I need to purchase in order to work with your soon to be released RPTR? Thanks in advance for your help!
ReplyDeleteHey there Jim!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, yes you will need to purchase the Gen 2 FCG, to replace the Gen1 FCG that comes with your Gen1 Vector. When we were working with the Gen 1 Vector all we simply did was take our Gen 2 FCG and installed the hammer from the Gen 1 with it. Then we installed the Gen2 FCG with the Gen 1 hammer into the Gen1 frame.
I hope this makes a little more sense.
